Please note, we are a HIRE company, and do not sell costumes.

Most costumes are one-off’s. They do not come in a variety of sizes. The smaller your body size, the greater choice you will have. Many genuine vintage outfits can be tiny!

We specialise in genuine Period items, Reproduction items from theatre, film, opera, Designer wear, both modern and vintage, and the relevant accessories, where possible.

We have a few, cheap quality, synthetic costumes, but we hide them, as we are so embarrassed. If you do wish to seek them out, or are on a budget, Antoinette’s casket can be opened, where she secrets them!

For Children

Adorable though they are, we do not really cater for the little treasures. Antoinette was secretly a wicked witch and used to eat children with her gingerbread ………………………….. (not really).

In fact we can usually help you if you are looking for Victorian or Tudor or other period outfits for children, as we have several very small adult sizes in theatrical costumes. There are also some children’s novelty costumes, such as majorette, princess, racing driver, crocodile, dinosaur, tiger, spaceboy, but our total number in these is about 12, so only come to us if you do not expect rooms full of them.
